Hello!

 

My name is Keri Griffin, I'm a video editor and animator with a range of other artistic talents.

 

I graduated in September 2013 from the Art Institute of York - Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation.

 

I complete a multitude of projects on a daily basis, ranging from video / audio editing, motion graphics and animation, illustration of graphics, to PowerPoint and document design.

EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD

MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST 2
PENN STATE UNIVERSITY

August 2018 - Present

  • Work with and create multiple design aspects (still images, video clips, graphics, and animations) for Online Courses and public “Learn Now” videos that vary in subject matter.

  • In charge of designing, creating, and maintaining accessible graphics, animations, and documents for those with visual or hearing disabilities.

  • Create and, on a monthly basis, update multiple Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents in regards to Multimedia Specialist processes and needed files for Online Courses and “Learn Now” videos, as well as short documents that contain training and troubleshooting options for various Adobe programs.

  • Created and weekly maintain multiple project management documents that list current and upcoming projects for all Multimedia Specialists with the status of each project listed, as well as a queue for in progress graphics or animations.

  • Supervise and provide various projects and tasks to three current part-time employees, utilizing regular weekly meetings to update those I supervise on upcoming projects or tasks and to check-in on their progress on current projects or tasks.

  • Edit video and audio clips, still images, graphics and animations into complete videos with programs like Camtasia and Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • In charge of creating and maintaining those accessible graphs, graphics and documents for those with visual or hearing disabilities.

  • Have created multiple Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents in regards to video editing and more in Adobe InDesign.

  • Edit video clips, images, or graphics into a complete video with programs like Camtasia and Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Record educator on-screen videos and audio voiceover for those where educator is not on-screen.

  • Frequently set-up and take down video studio equipment and lights prior to and after recording.

PHOENIX CONTACT

June 2014 - January 2018, Present

  • Worked in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition to edit together and occasionally fix video and audio clips.

  • Projects consisted of product and internal, team-building videos for Phoenix Contact.

  • Often edited product photos in Adobe Photoshop as well.

  • Kept and continue to keep all completed video and photo project files in organized folders locally and within the Dropbox cloud service.

  • Communication skill was shown through constant e-mail correspondence as well as a weekly phone call meeting to discuss new projects or previous project edits.

October 2012 - June 2014

  • Worked in multiple Adobe programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create and further design documents such as weekly or monthly newsletters and local newspaper ads.
